The DiSC Profile helps understand the behavioral styles of people as the key to improving communication, teamwork and connecting with others.

The DISC Behavioral Model describes four basic patterns: not types of people, but styles of behaving:

    D (Dominance) — direct, decisive, results oriented

    I (Influence)      — outgoing, big picture, energizing

    S (Steadiness)   — stable, steady, systematic, diplomatic

    C (Compliance) — correct, controlled, detail-oriented

There is no one particular style that is better or worse, as each style has its own strengths and limitations. However, understanding how various styles operate helps groups and teams complement one another and collaborate well, building advantageous synergy in the process.
